Zen Tuesday morning I took my hubs, who suffers from chronic kidney stones, to the ER. He hardly ever goes anymore because it's always the same story - go home and pass it - and he hadn't been since long before Covid. He has a 10mm/1 cm stone massively blocking urine from going through on the left side and his kidney was twice the size it should be. He had a tube inserted into the kidney to relieve pressure. We assumed he would have surgery to remove the stone yesterday. Instead, they sent him home with the hope of surgery in two weeks, with a bag attached to his kidney. So... Less than fun.
